I’ve traveled across the world, from invite-only meetings in Hong Kong… to briefing members of the global elite on blockchain technology at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
And no place I’ve visited has a more gorgeous sunset than Arizona’s Sonoran Desert.
The final rays from the setting sun paint the sky’s palette with soft red and orange hues.
The iconic saguaro cacti – which can grow up to 40 feet high – dot the rugged landscape.
The jagged mountain peaks in the distant horizon enclose the panoramic scene.
But beneath all that natural beauty is a hellhole…
According to the journal Science, the Sonoran Desert’s record high is 177.4 degrees Fahrenheit. That makes it the hottest desert in the world (tied with the Lut Desert in Iran).
It’s also home to some of the most dangerous animals in North America.
It’s the only place in the United States where you’ll find jaguars… or the highly venomous tiger rattlesnake.
There are no watering holes. No shade. Dehydration and heat stroke are real threats for hikers and travelers.
In fact, over the last two decades, officials have found more than 4,000 remains of people believed to have died trying to cross the 86,000-square-mile desert.
So why am I telling you all this?
Because I recently booked a self-driving Tesla car to take me to a state-of-the-art facility being built in the middle of the Sonoran Desert.
It’s the last setting I would expect to find this company’s new location…
And what I discovered could be a game-changer for artificial intelligence (AI).
You Don’t Find Life-Changing Ideas Behind a Keyboard
One thing I’ve learned over the years is that you can’t find life-changing ideas sitting behind a keyboard. You have to do boots-on-the-ground research.
I’ve risked life and limb in the Amazon rainforest… I was nearly thrown in jail in the former Soviet Union… And I was stranded in a boat during a voyage across the Atlantic.
One of my most harrowing adventures came during a trip to Russia in 2019.
I was there to research cryptos. And through my network of experts and industry insiders, I managed to snag a much-coveted plus one-invite to the most exclusive meeting of tech startup founders in Eastern Europe.
The only problem: The event was in the former Soviet Republic of Belarus.
Belarus has an open border with Russia. So I flew from Moscow to Minsk with no problem.
What I didn’t realize is if you’re American and fly into Belarus from Russia, you needed a special visa. By the time I realized that, it was too late.
And I was in trouble with the Belarusian authorities.
Long story short, after consulting with a lawyer and turning down a friend’s offer to smuggle me out of the country, I turned myself in to the local police.
Much to my relief, the officer I dealt with at the jail station was stern but fair. He believed me when I said I’d made an honest mistake.
After signing papers in Russian and paying four different fines… I finally had all the paperwork I needed to receive the elusive Belarusian visa and avoid jail time.
That trip was one of the many I made over the past seven years.
Over that time, 27 crypto picks I shared with my followers that have jumped by more than 1,000%.
Two years later, in 2021, I went in search for my next big idea: a small company in the heart of the Amazon rainforest.
During my trek through the jungle, I caught a nasty bacterial infection.
The infection didn’t hit me right away. But I eventually found out that it was slowly eating away at my stomach lining.
Bit by bit, my appetite started to diminish. Over the course of three weeks, things got much worse.
I could barely eat anything. My stomach was in constant pain… And my appetite had disappeared. I ended up dropping 15 pounds over 21 days.
At my wit’s end, I went to a medical center in San Diego for a long series of tests.
They still didn’t know what was wrong… But the specialists there referred me to a local gastrointestinal disease expert.
He put me through even more tests. But he finally nailed it. A bacterium usually found in lesser developed countries had burrowed its way into my stomach lining, giving me an ulcer.
The doctor put me on a treatment that essentially carpet-bombed my system with various antibiotics. The success rate is 70%. Fortunately, I wasn’t among the 30% who were unsuccessful.
And even though I’m getting older, I still haven’t slowed down.
In late February of this year, I embarked on the most dangerous trip of my life.
I sailed 3,000 nautical miles across the Atlantic Ocean from Europe to the Caribbean in my red-hulled catamaran.
After a successful start to our voyage, we ran into some major problems.
First, my boat’s autopilot failed. Then, the rudders broke. Finally, we nearly ran out of fuel. We were adrift in the middle of the ocean, nearly 1,200 miles from shore.
Fortunately, we saw another boat on our radar system. It was a 285-foot mega yacht.
My captain radioed for help, and – God bless him – the captain of the other boat replied.
His crew supplied us with fuel and tools to fix my boat’s rudders. After 19 days on the open ocean, we eventually made it back to shore safely.
Even though we encountered 25-foot swells and lost our rudders and autopilot, I was still able to send messages to the Palm Beach Research Group team back in Delray Beach, Florida, using the Iridium satellite text service.
March was an incredibly volatile month for bitcoin – we saw it drop into the low $20,000 range.
So I wanted to make sure I was there for my subscribers – even if it was from my battered catamaran in the middle of the ocean.
That brings me back to my trip to the Sonoran Desert…
I’m Not Indiana Jones or James Bond
Recently, I unearthed a company I believe will end up supplying Tesla CEO Elon Musk with a key piece of technology for his new AI venture.
That’s why I trekked to Arizona’s Sonoran Desert… to visit the facility I’m standing in front of in the picture below (click on the image to watch my full report)…
I wanted to see with my own eyes that it’ll be a game-changer for AI, like many believe.
My visit – and boots-on-the-ground research – confirms it.
Moving forward, I believe this AI stock has MORE upside potential today than Nvidia.
And if you buy shares now, before Musk makes the official announcement… I believe you’ll have a chance to make incredible gains from this blue-chip company.
Friends, I’m no Indiana Jones or James Bond. I don’t go on adventures to find rare artifacts… or to stop some supervillain’s evil plot to destroy the world.
I’m just a humble newsletter editor who’ll risk life and limb to give you the chance to live the American dream as I have.
Let the Game Come to You!
