Step 1: Before you shut the water off, turn the

 

temperature down as low as it will go. Stay under the icy stream for 30 seconds. (Scream if necessary.)

Step 2: Turn the water up as hot as you can handle it. Stay under the hot water for 30 seconds.

Step 3: Switch the water back to cold for 30 more seconds. Then shut it off.
