What is The Palm Beach Letter?
A: The Palm Beach Letter is the flagship advisory of the Palm Beach Research Group. In this monthly publication, editor Teeka Tiwari primarily looks for safe, conservative, income-producing ideas. However, Teeka does set aside a small allocation in our Palm Beach Letter portfolio for smart speculations, like cryptocurrencies, and chaos hedges, such as gold.
What is Palm Beach Confidential?
A: Palm Beach Confidential is our small-cap and cryptocurrency advisory. Editor Teeka Tiwari still follows the safe approach he uses in The Palm Beach Letter, but the ideas in Palm Beach Confidential are much smaller, and therefore much more speculative.
In Palm Beach Confidential, we use a strategy called Asymmetric Investing. That means an investment must have plenty of upside with little downside before we recommend it. Asymmetric investing allows you to risk as little as $100 for a chance to make $1,000, $10,000, or even $100,000.

Because they are digital, cryptocurrencies make transactions faster and more efficient. For instance, you can use them to transfer funds to other people.
Unlike fiat currencies (dollars, yen, euros, etc.), cryptocurrencies are not issued by governments or central banks. That makes them immune to government manipulation.
Most cryptocurrencies can only be bought with bitcoin, although a few larger ones can be bought with fiat currencies.
How do I buy, sell, and store cryptocurrencies?
A: You can buy and sell cryptocurrencies on a cryptocurrency exchange, and store them in a cryptocurrency wallet.
Do you have to buy bitcoin to buy every other cryptocurrency?
A: In nearly all cases, you will need to buy bitcoin to purchase other cryptocurrencies.
Bitcoin is the reserve currency of cryptocurrencies. All cryptocurrencies are priced in bitcoin and can be bought with bitcoin.
