One of the many ways Donald Trump is shaking up the Presidential election is through is views on Social Security.
While many of his rivals are happy to talk about cutting Social Security, Trump has been an outspoken supporter of the program.
“It’s not unreasonable for people who paid into a system for decades to expect to get their money back. That’s not ‘entitlement’, that’s honoring a deal,” Trump has said.
If elected, Trump says he won’t touch Social Security – other than to make it stronger.
But there’s one Social Security cut he can’t stop.
In fact, this cut will already be history before the Presidential election is over…
On April 30, President Obama and Congress will shut down two Social Security loopholes, called File and Suspend; and Restricted Application.
Closing these two loopholes will cost 32 million Americans up to $60,000 in extra Social Security benefits.
That’s like taking away two Social Security checks a year – every year – for the rest of your life.
Unfortunately, this cut is already law. There’s nothing anyone can do about it – including Donald Trump.
However, if you think might be eligible to receive this money then you need to act quickly – or miss out on these benefits forever.
